“ Ordered a London fog on a cold morning and it was amazing!! I wish they had bigger sizes!! As I waited, I looked around at some of the art on the walls. I enjoy looking at the little details of furniture picks and decor - so creative! You can tell the business is very involved with the community, so please support them if you get the chance ”
“ Re: The Foccacia Stop by the Doshi House for the amazing jackfruit taco and 3 bean chil when I received a wonderful surprise. The foccacia was amazing - buttery, herbaceous, soft and fluffy! A must try. ”
“ Doshi House has made my list of clutch VEGAN breakfast taco spots in town. Open at 7:30am. The [just] egg and potato tacos are incredibly delicious (rec. on flour). The eggs are so light and fluffy that the tender, perfectly seasoned baton potatoes, (cilantro?)chutney, fresh onions and fresh cilantro complement so well and serve to keep the eggs from floating away. Wash it down with a perfectly crafted (any) latte. Pat your back because you've just set yourself up for a successful run at the tasks waiting for you on the other side of the most important meal of the day. - Can't remember having a lighter textured slice of heaven- err, banana nut bread The people here create a great product. ”
“ Great tacos and chai latte. The Korean bbq tacos were my favorite. The just egg and potato were just as nice and filling. Chai latte was excellent. Everything was quick to the table and the baristas were great. Loved the art and vibe in the cafe and the patio with many alternative seating arrangements. ”
“ Doshi House is a quaint coffee shop located in third ward district of Houston. Parking is not too bad with a couple gravel spots in the front. The interior and ambiance is very cozy. This is a coffee shop where I can see plenty of college students studying or people working remotely. It feels like there's a lot of decor/things going on at once but it fits together and is cohesive. The service was nice overall. The cashier took my order and fielded any questions I had but no other complaints or complements from me. I ordered the Pistachio latte* and one chocolate chip cookie. The chocolate chip cookie came straight out the oven as it was (still) on the baking tray. The cookie was a standard salted chocolate chip cookie and paired nicely with my coffee. The Pistachio latte is a Doshi signature drink so I opted for that. The coffee was not too bitter or too sweet - good for the balance in between. It also had chunks(?) of the syrup or flavoring which was part of the drink. Haven't had a texture like that with my coffee (different case for boba) so was surprised. Overall, Doshi House is a very solid coffee shop with a wide array to select from and would visit here and there again. *They only have oat, almond, or soy milk choices. I opted for soy milk. ”
“ Food 11 out of 10. Service 11 out of 10. Ambiance 11 out of 10. This is a great place to grab some delicious food and drink. Got the Chai Tea iced. It's a spicy one, very good. Got the Jackfruit tacos. Homemade flour tortillas were so good. All of the flavors are great. Amazing! Everything was fresh and delicious. ”
“ Pistachio latte - 8.5/10 - Soo good and flavorful, had crushed pistachios mixed in Matcha w lavender and vanilla - 9.5/10 - One of the best ceremonial matchas ive had, the lavender and vanilla added a nice sweetness without overpowering the matcha Potato and egg taco - 8.5/10 - Very tasty and flavorful, slightly spicy too Korean bbq - 9.5/10 - Delicious, this was plant based but tasted so much like meat lol Pumpkin chai muffin - 8.5/10 - Tasted like fall in a muffin, lightly sweet and really good Salted chocolate chip - 7.5/10 - I like the flavor but the cookie itself was too hard This was one of the most unique coffee shops ive been to with everything 100% plant based. They focus on bringing the community together and even have private spaces to rent out or work in. Their coffee is roasted in house which i loved. They also sell to-go coffee tins and freshly brewed chai. Definitely recommend stopping by here if youre in the area! ”
“ 5/5 Jackfruit Chick'n 3/5 Korean BBQ I have heard a lot about this vegetarian friendly coffee shop and finally got the chance to check it out! I got 2 tacos on my visit and the jackfruit chick'n was a big surprise! It was flavorful and tender. However, the korean BBQ taco left me a little disappointed. While it was still flavorful, it tasted overly salty to me, which is a common challenge of imitating meat dishes not unique to here. Also the pistachio latte here is also delicious! There is plenty of indoor seating but also a HUGE outdoor patio that I can't wait to check out in the fall. ”
“ Peaceful coffee shop with solid drinks. Doshi house is in a more quiet neighborhood and has a spacious garden space with swing chairs and lots of plants/vines We had Americano and oat milk matcha, both are excellent. Their seasame chocolate peanut butter scone was good too, overall good vibe. Very special space :) ”
